The last time I did a TBR was so long ago I can barely remember what was on it, so there may be some repeats because I know that I didn’t read all of those ones on there because I found other ones. So today I’m sharing my new list of books that I want to read at some point in the year or next year because I’ll probably find other books I want to read more than these eventually.
First is Heir of Fire by Sarah J. Maas. I loved following Seleana’s story throughout the first and second books so I am so excited to read the third book. It has been so long since I read Crown of Midnight, so I may be a little lost, but it’s still worth it.
The Elite by Kiera Cass. I did a review on the Selection a few weeks ago that you can read to see how much I adored the first book. I won’t bore you with the details, but I hope this one is just as fantastic as the first one.
Scarlet by Marissa Meyer. Ironically, I gave the first book to my Grandma to read, then went and bought the rest of the series, read them all, and absolutely loved them. I have yet to get to the second book. I loved the concept of these books and I love the futuristic twist on the classic stories. I’m amazed I’ve lasted so long without reading them all.
Mark of Athena by Rick Riordan. This, I do remember, was on my last TBR. I’m so ashamed that I haven’t read it, there’s just so many books. My twelve-year-old self would die if she knew I hadn’t read this book.
Clockwork Princess by Cassandra Clare. I’m currently reading Clockwork Angel, the first book in the trilogy, and I love it so much. I fell in love with Will literally on the first page. I knew he was going to be my favorite. I need more Will so I need this book.
City of Ashes by Cassandra Clare. Personally, I like Clockwork Angel better, probably because I adore England and the 1800s, but I still need to force myself to finish this series. It was still extremely good, I just wasn’t as entertained. I just hope the second one is better.
Legend by Marie Lu. Legend is the first book in a trilogy about a teenage girl named Day who is a highly wanted criminal who meets another teen named June who is being trained for the government’s military. I’m not sure of anything else, it just seemed interesting to me, and kind of like Starters by Lissa Price, which was a great book.
Obsidian by Jennfier L. Armentrout. I don’t know much about this book except what Sasha from ABookUtopia has said about it on her booktube channel. It’s about aliens and there’s a cute boy on the cover. That’s the extent of my knowledge and honestly that’s good enough for me.
And finally, I’m going to end with Outlander by Diana Gabaldon. Again, I’ve heard Sasha rave about this series, but I’ve also heard it from a lot of other people. Apparently the tv show is really good as well, so I thought it would be a cool book to read since it’s about Scotland and time travel.
There are obviously plenty more books I want/need to read, but these are the main ones as of right now. I hope you enjoyed this post! Comment down below what books are on your TBR. Thanks for reading!
