The intimidating TBR tag

Hello everyone!

Today I am going to do a tag that I have seen both ABookUtopia and PeruseProject do on Booktube, and that I saw on The Nameless Book Blog (you should all check her out by the way, her blog is so cute). My TBR is a serious issue in my life, which most likely stems from the fact that I’m a relatively slow reader – especially during the school year. Seriously, don’t even ask me how many books I’ve read in 2018 (the answer is 1).

1. A book on your TBR pile that you haven’t finished

King’s Cage. I am so guilty of really just putting this book down and never bothering to pick it up again.

2. A book you just haven’t had the time to read for

Night Circus. I was finally getting into it when life hit me so incredibly hard – school literally owns me.

3. A book you haven’t read because it’s a sequel

I don’t really think I would ever not read a book just because it’s a sequel. I actually really like sequels.

4. A book you haven’t read because it’s brand new

I feel like I kind of put off An Enchantment of Ravens because it was so new and there’s other books I had been wanting to read for a longer time.

5. A book by an author you read previously but didn’t really like

Six of Crows. I don’t own this book, but I really wish I did. I also wasn’t as big of a fan of the Grishaverse as I thought I would be.

6. A book on your TBR pile that your just not in the mood to read

The Book Thief. One of my roommates just gave me this book, but I just can’t feel the desire to want to read it at this time. I really want an action-y, suspense-y book.

7. A book on your TBR pile that you haven’t read because it’s enormous

Cress. I really want to read this book, but let’s be honest – that book is HUGE when your life is so busy.

8. A book on your TBR you bought because of the cover

Flame in the Mist. I never really buy books based on cover, but I really wanted it for Christmas and I didn’t really know what it was about, but the cover was amazing. I guess that’s the closest I come to that.

9. The book on your TBR you find the most intimidating

Flamecaster. I think it’s so intimidating because I really, really want to like it, and it’s so big.

Let me know down below about your TBR, or let me know if you do the tag.

Thanks for reading!
